The Stonefly Inn Cabins - Lodging in Twin Bridges, Montana

Staying at The Stonefly Inn, you will enjoy clean, freshly remodeled cabins that will make you look forward to returning from your day on the water. In a time of fast food, roadside motels and less than friendly service, we are "the other guys" that do it right. And we're located right in Twin Bridges, a five minute walk from the Beaverhead River, and a ten minute walk from the R.L. Winston Rod Company.

Inside you'll find a comfortable with the all amenities of home! You can expect clean, comfortable cabins with all the amenities of any chain motel. Each cabin has Direct TV and telephones, and Wi-Fi access is available - but if you choose to leave those options for when you return home, we understand! Daily housekeeping is standard, and you will return to your beds being made, fresh towels on the racks and the coffee pot ready to roll for the morning.

We have six cabins that can accommodate up to 12 anglers. Each cabin has 2 queen beds, and three of our cabins have kitchenettes for the do-it yourselfers out there.

Not unlike any fishing destination, getting to Montana can require some homework before you leave for your trip. Before you string up your rod streamside, there are several things to consider ~ flight reservations, gear requirements, weather, river conditions, and car rentals.

Flight schedules for Bozeman & Butte Montana

KBZN - Gallatin Field, Bozeman MT

KBTM = Bert Mooney Airport, Butte MT

You will need to book air travel into Bozeman (Gallatin Field) or Butte ( Bert Mooney Airport ). Twin Bridges is about an hour and 15 minutes from Bozeman , and 45 minutes from Butte. As a general rule, most of our guests find better connections in and out of Bozeman (BZN).

To the left you'ill find links to all major airlines servicing these two airports. Links for the local car rental agencies also on each web site.

If you are flying private air, consider landing right here in Twin Bridges, or 25 miles to the SW in Dillon. Below are the links to the local airports and facilities available.

Driving directions to Twin Bridges (from the east & west):

Traveling east or west on Interstate 90, exit off the highway at Whitehall, Montana. Head south on N Whitehall St towards W Legion Avenue. Turn right at West Legion Avenue and travel approx 4/10 of a mile to MT-2/MT-55/MT-69. Turn left and head south on MT-55. MT-55 will eventually change to MT-287/MT-41 just before the small town of Silver Star. Continue on this road, and you'll run right into Twin Bridges. Look for the Stonefly Inn on your right, just as you come into town. From Whitehall to Twin Bridges the driving distance is about 27 miles or so.

Driving Direction to Twin Bridges (from the south):

Traveling north on Interstate 15, exit off the highway at Dillon, Montana. Head on MT-41 North, until you reach Twin Bridges!
